Guide to the season 2009-10

Welcome to Llangollen Youth FC – Under 8s

Basics

1. Season Starts 1^st September 2009 and finishes on 31^st May 2010.
2. Tournaments will be played in June 2010.
3. Training will be on Wednesday 6-7pm at the youth club during the summer time and indoors at the leisure centre during the winter time.
4. Matches will be played fortnightly on Sundays and fixtures will be available either from the manager or from the Wrexham & District Youth football league website (www.wdyfl.co.uk ).
5. Your child should wear shin pads and have the appropriate footwear for training and matches.
6. Provide your child with a drink for training and matches.

The football club is run by volunteers!!

We always look for more people to help with coaching, fundraising, sponsoring, helping with administration, etc…

Fees

1. 2 payments of £42.
   1. 1^st payment in September 2009
   2. 2^nd payment in February 2010.
   3. Fees are used to pay for equipment (Goals posts, cones, bibs, corner flags, First Aid kits, etc…), any courses our coaches need to do (Football Leader Awards, First Aid, Child welfare) and registration of players to the league.
   4. We tend to rely on sponsorship for Football kits, waterproof jackets, hats, etc…
